Carbon Sink Workshops
Carbon Sink Workshops begin with sound mapping of an urban area to identify areas that are carbon sinks. A carbon sink is something meant to offset carbon emissions. These areas can be parkland or pedestrian areas with planting. The carbon emissions associated with the workshop, including travel costs and use of laptops and AC power are calculated and where possible offset through tree planting or change in behaviour to improve future carbon footprints
